All our yarn is hand dyed in a studio in beautiful Pembrokeshire, just a stone's throw from one of the most stunning beaches in the country. When he's not hard at work in the studio, Gerd can usually be found at the beach, where he is one of the local Surf Dudes. Our colourways are often inspired by the coastal scenery around us, and each yarn type has been named after a favourite beach in Pembrokeshire.

Cariad means love or beloved in Welsh, and seemed very appropriate for our yarn company, since it was born out of a love of textiles, a love of colour, and a love of the crazy wonderful world of knitting. We hope you love our yarn as much as we do, and that the joy we find in creating our colourways will carry though in whatever you create from our yarn.
